This recipe takes a fun twist on the traditional cranberry sauce, while still being very simple and tasty. The chia seeds make this cranberry sauce so healthy and wholesome as chia seeds contain omega-3s and lots of fiber and antioxidants. When chia seeds mix with liquid, the seeds really absorb the liquid and create a gelatinous texture.

Organic Orange Flavor for the Best Cranberry Sauce

This Organic Orange Flavor from Frontier is my favorite way to add orange to this recipe. It is 100% pure orange extract and is high quality.

The very best pot from Staub for the Healthy Cranberry Sauce

I highly recommend this beautiful cast iron pot from Staub for this recipe because the lid closes and seals really well. I can even cook rice in it! It is a non-toxic pot and very sturdy so you can use it over and over again for years to come. The bottom of the pot also heats very evenly and your food does not burn on the bottom of the pot, which is really important in this recipe.

I love to store this cranberry sauce in my Zwilling containers as it keeps food fresh up to five times longer. I was able to make this cranberry sauce a few days before Thanksgiving and know it would still be fresh and delicious for Thanksgiving dinner!

I’m confused! Is it 2 cups or 4 1/2 cups or 3 12oz bags of cranberries for the amount of other ingredients.

It should be 4 1/2 cups of cranberries which is the approximate equivalent to 3 12oz bags. Sorry for the confusion!
