This cranberry sauce is easy to make and so delicious! I will be making this for our Thanksgiving dinner, but it would be delicious anytime to add to sandwiches, as a side, or a little snack. It is also really healthy as it contains gelatin which is good for strong nails and hair as well as your gut health.

Easy Cooked Cranberry Sauce Recipe Details

You’ll need to get out a blender and molds or cupcake tins for the cranberry sauce. I prefer silicone molds as they are non-stick and non-toxic.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups cranberries
  • 3 Tablespoons gelatin
  • 1 teaspoon orange flavor
  • 1 Cup maple syrup

First, cook the 2 cups cranberries over low-medium heat. Once they start to release juice, stir them frequently as they will begin bursting.

Easy Cooked Cranberry Sauce - Step 1

Once the cranberries are soft, add in the gelatin and mayple syrup. You don’t have to worry about mixing this super well – the blender will do this for you.

Easy Cooked Cranberry Sauce - Step 2

Quickly add your orange flavor. You want to add this last as too much time on the heat can reduce the bright orange flavor.

Easy Cooked Cranberry Sauce - Step 3

Pour this mixture into your blender and blend until it is the consistency of thin pancake batter.

Easy Cooked Cranberry Sauce - Step 4

Pour in to your gelatin molds and then place the molds into the fridge to cool until the sauce is firm – at least an hour.

Easy Cooked Cranberry Sauce - Step 5

Pop out the cranberry sauce from your gelatin molds – it should easily come out. Plate them up for your dinner!

Easy Cooked Cranberry Sauce - Step 6

I hope you enjoy this cooked cranberry sauce as much as my family does! I would love to know what you think in the comments.

    Hi
Can you use an alternative sweetener besides maple syrup as I can’t have this due to an allergy? Also, where did you get the flower gelatin moulds from please?

    Thank you so much

Hi Page! You can use honey for the sweetener in these. 🙂 I got the flower molds on Amazon but I don’t see them there anymore. HERE are similar ones ❤️
