Why Solid Perfume?

Your skin is the largest organ of your body and since it is porous, it absorbs whatever you put on it. For that reason, I’m very picky with what I put on my skin! Besides using organic, all natural ingredients that are nurturing the skin, I like to use solid perfume. Why solid perfume? You don’t need a lot and what you do apply will last longer on the skin as there is no alcohol or water to evaporate the fragrance, or in this case, the essential oil. The oils will trap the scent of the essential oil.

This perfume is very easy to make and you can get as creative as you want. You can adjust how strong you want the scent to be.

Here’s a short video on how to do it step by step! Recipe is under the video.

These are the things you are going to need:

Little metal cup to melt the ingredients

1/4 teaspoon and a 1/2 teaspoon for measuring

As for ingredients:

1 teaspoon shea butter

1 teaspoon bee’s wax

2 teaspoon fractionated coconut oil

1/8 teaspoon raspberry powder (optional)

40 drops of vanilla essential oil

10 drops of rose essential oil

I also shared this in my last YouTube video which you can watch by clicking on the below picture!

I hope you enjoy this recipe! I love the warm scent of vanilla and the touch of rose! Have a wonderful day and thank you for checking out this post.

Hey there! I can’t wait to try this out! I just wanted to verify the measurements, in the recipe is says Tsp but in the video it looks like you’re using Tbsp. Just wanted to double check, thanks! ☺️

    • Noemi

Hi Jackie! Yes, it is tsp for the measurements 😊 I would love to hear what you think of the perfume after you make it! 💖

      • Jackie

        Thanks for verifying!

I made it and I absolutely love it!!! I made mine with Geranium, Clary Sage and a little bit of Lavender 😍 It smells like spring! Now I want to play around and find a fall/winter scent lol

  7. Jola

    • Noemi

Hello Jola! Thank you so much for your comment and for watching all my videos, it means a lot! ? I really enjoy the hygge lifestyle too ? I added you to my newsletter as well and I hope you enjoy it! ??
