Why Solid Perfume?

Your skin is the largest organ of your body and since it is porous, it absorbs whatever you put on it. For that reason, I’m very picky with what I put on my skin! Besides using organic, all natural ingredients that are nurturing the skin, I like to use solid perfume. Why solid perfume? You don’t need a lot and what you do apply will last longer on the skin as there is no alcohol or water to evaporate the fragrance, or in this case, the essential oil. The oils will trap the scent of the essential oil.

This perfume is very easy to make and you can get as creative as you want. You can adjust how strong you want the scent to be.

Here’s a short video on how to do it step by step! Recipe is under the video.

These are the things you are going to need:

Little metal cup to melt the ingredients

Whisk

1/4 teaspoon and a 1/2 teaspoon for measuring

As for ingredients:

1 teaspoon shea butter

1 teaspoon bee’s wax

2 teaspoon fractionated coconut oil

1/8 teaspoon raspberry powder (optional)

40 drops of vanilla essential oil

10 drops of rose essential oil

I also shared this in my last YouTube video which you can watch by clicking on the below picture!

I hope you enjoy this recipe! I love the warm scent of vanilla and the touch of rose! Have a wonderful day and thank you for checking out this post.

xx Noemi
